All my breads are vegan products, and none contain any fats or oils. My sourdough breads are fermented over three days, which gives them moisture and shelf life. The sourdough also repels mold, making it possible to store your bread on the shelf for several days. The flax seed and rye breads are made in a two-day process. On day 1, a fresh yeast batter is made, and fermented overnight. Then on day 2, it is incorporated into the dough.

My HERITAGE WHEAT SOURDOUGH bread is a whole grain bread, made with sourdough culture, whole wheat flour, coarsely ground rye flour, white flour, and salt. The cost is $4.00 for a 1-lb. loaf. The flavor is toasty and wheaty, due to the dark flours. The sourdough process holds more moisture, and makes the bread last longer at room temperature, as it repels molds. It is a vegan product. The wheat flour is procured from Anarchy Acres in Racine, a local farm that grows a 100-year-old strain of heritage wheat. It is a hand made product, so each loaf is a little different, but the high quality is always the same.

My WHOLE WHEAT FLAX SEED bread is a whole grain bread, made with bread flour, whole wheat flour, ground flax seed, whole flax seed, yeast, and salt. It is a vegan product. The cost is $3.50 for a 1-lb. loaf (shown below), or $5.00 for a 1.5 lb. sandwich shaped loaf. The flavor is that of a "light" wheat, as it has more white flour in proportion to the wheat flour. The wheat flour is procured from Anarchy Acres in Racine, a local farm that grows a 100-year-old strain of heritage wheat. It is a hand made product, so each loaf is a little different, but the high quality is always the same.

My COCOA-COFFEE CARAWAY RYE bread is a whole grain rye bread, made with rye flour, bread flour, cocoa, coffee, molasses, caraway, yeast, and salt. It is a vegan product. The cost is $4.50 for a 1-lb. loaf. It has a bold rye and caraway flavor. It is a hand made product, so each loaf is a little different, but the high quality is always the same.

My BLONDE WHEATBERRY SOURDOUGH bread is made with sourdough culture, bread flour, coarsely ground rye flour, whole wheatberries and salt. The cost is $3.50 for a 1-lb. loaf. It has a light flavor and texture, due to the sourdough process, which holds more moisture, and repels mold, for a better storage at room temperature. My GLUTEN-FREE BREAD has sunflower seeds, flax seeds, rolled oats, whole hazelnuts, whole pecans, puffed rice, chia seeds, psyllium husk, and salt. It is a vegan product, and has no dairy, egg, sugar, fat, or wheat. Each bread is 2 pounds, and slices and freezes well. Gluten-Free breads are $10.00 each.
